A turbo or a super

For a supercharger i'm just looking at kenne bell 2.2L.

For Turbos, i have no idea what to look for, probably just a single 63mm or sumthin.

How much am i looking at spending with the kenne bell w/intall and full kit and how much for a 63mm or comprable turbo w/full kit and install?

If you are on internet eplorer download Firefox. It's much faster! My wife's PC is old as hell and it makes a big difference on hers. :wink

well i'm not gonna be able to afford these things for quite awhile and i can wait... my gt only has 13,500 on it, i'm guessing in maybe 2 yrs or so i could afford a FI. But i need prices for new items... i know i'll probably get a used one when the time comes but i need to see where i stand financially here... so

Dude, in two years you would have been beaten so many times... It won't be 6 months before you do something for power. Remember my words. When you get your ass handed to you by a Maxima, then you'll run for some nitrous or a blower.

Believe me, if i could afford it i would get a s/c or t/c. I'm still in highschool so i cant really have a job that pays good yet... all my money goes to gas damnit. and when i get outta hs i gotta save some money for college but i'm sayin it'll be at least 2 yrs probably more, but i'm not too hard on her, i plan on making it last a long time, so i'm not gonna go crazy until i actually get FI.

Turbo charger is definitely the way to go, but it is quite a bit more pricey than a supercharger. A turbo is more efficient and will make more hp at a lower psi than a supercharger. A centrifugal supercharger would be the cheapest, followed by a Kenne Bell, then a turbo kit. The reason turbo kits are so much more expensive is because you need a whole new front suspension. Most kits are built around a certain companies front suspension such as UPR's or Maximum Motorsports. An intercooled Kenne Bell kit installed and tune will run you around $6,500. A brand new turbo kit will be over $6,000and then add in install and tuning. Probably close to $8,000 all together. 99-04 Mustang GT Single Turbo System - 350 to 850 HP
