i don't think VA actually does an emissions test, i think it's just visual. but it depends on where you go. the place i went to for my last inspection had the car in the shop for 7 minutes and it passed with a Dr. Gas O/R X pipe. $16 and no questions asked.

Yea, they do visual...I'm gonna keep it catted, but I know the places around me are so money hungry they will fail me for everything if they could.

i hadn't actually noticed that till you said something. mine has the thick rubber connector. and it doesn't have the JLT logo on it, either.

yep, the Bullitt CAI is a one piece design, the GT CAI is 2 piece.

i unfortunately was dumb and got the bbk cai for my car and now i wish i hadnt. how much of a difference would it actually make if i went to a jlt?

i gained something like 10 HP and 14 ft lbs of torque. not too shabby.
