JLT CAI is on!

First off I'd like to say that this was a serious PITA! 30 Minutes to install my ass! LOL Getting that thing to fit right in my car was no easy task. Maybe it is because it is more designed for the 96-98 Cobra than the Bullitt, but it was a pain. The good news is it's on and I can feel a difference in my acceleration. I went out messing around at 2am and it definitely pulls harder now. All and all it was worth it so far, but for me, personally, it was a pain to install. Now if I could only afford to get the 4.10s on my dining room table installed. LOL

I bought it on JLTs site yesterday so I could it to match my car, and since they are in my area its arriving to my door today.

No I didn't. I couldn't see how it would help. Getting to the under part wasn't an issue. I just jacked up the one side. All my problems were getting it to fit on the TB and fit properly in the damn fender hole at the same time. Nothing was co-operating!

PS - My K&N FIPK CAI for 96-98 Cobras and 01 Bullitts is in the classified section.

Not any more than the factory 3/4" drop it comes with. I'm still deciding on wheels. LOL

I love the way your car looks, but The last thing I want is to be on here with my car looking like yours. LOL I don't know!?! I go back and forth so often. I would really love chrome 18" Saleens.

they're all good wheels! the bullitt is meant to have some sort of bullitt wheels on it though IMO.

As much as I've been fighting it I really am considering saying f*ck it and putting on the black Saleens I already have.

ya know the main reason i didnt go with black is because i always see those ricers with the gay ass black wheels, i'm sure you know what i'm talking about, and black reminded me of those guys so i went chrome lol.

meh if i went black id get black bullits or something with the chrome lip, it separates it a bit, all black would look bad on white
on black maybe good
