noise

when i was 17 i had a 94 camaro and the tranny in it was decent. now first and formost i love my mustang it handles better than a chevy sound better and all that but the tranny makes a lot of noise. i baby my car i check all the juices twice a week i clean the motor every time i wash her and all that and every thing runs fine but the tranny. its not falling out or nothing but it just makes noises like when i let off the clutch in nutrel it makes a humming/roaring sound like a wheel bearing makes and when i take off in 1st it makes a rattle sound and after a little google surfing i thinks i have a t-5 i have a 2002 gt and ive heard it isnt the best just wanted to know if theres a rebuild kit to make it stronger (ive seen one on jegs) i know some of you have had the same prob and just wondered what you guys have done

You don't have a t5. They quit putting them behind v8's in 95. Usually, if you have a noise when you push the clutch, it is a throw out bearing, and a input shaft bearing if it is making noise when you release the clutch. Either way, it is one or the other more than likely. You will have to open the trans for the input bearing. Take it to a "REPUTABLE" shop and they usually will take it for a spin and tell you what it is for free.
