Engine rebuild?


When would you guys say its time to rebuild the engine? it has about 148xxx. miles on it now... its been my dd...and if its time for a rebuild what are the usual cost for it and what is replaced, fixed,and or polished? any input would be nice...thnx

if it runs fine dont waste your money rebuilding it. i dont know the cost of a basic rebuild but you could always just look on ebay for a low mileage replacement motor. you can usually pick them up for 1500ish

cool....i appreciate it...but would it make a difference if i plan on putting on some bolt ons? and full exhaust?

Not really. Most bolt ons bu=y themselves don't add enough power to put a huge strain on the engine and it's parts.
