Axleback exhaust and turbo?

So i dont know if this is the section, but why is there axleback exhaust for only the 2005+ mustangs? also i was wondering if this would be possible on our mustangs?

Some one posted a set up like this a couple months ago. It was a kit for the 99-04's. But it was a single turbo and looked like it would have some clearance issues.

to answer your question, there is axle back for the 05+ becuase Ford relocated the fuel tank to where the mufflers are on you car so a mid muffler set up was not feasable. That being said the price of out axle backs is as much if not more that you guys' cat backs

so its a better gain with these? what about clearance issues? if you scrape your turbos on a bad pothole, you could be screwed right?

My guess would be you would get more gain with these b/c of cooler charge temps. It would have more lag time then the normal set up, but you wouldn't need to get a tubular K-member.
