So it was the local race night at the airport tonight and this kid shows up in an eclipse that he bought yesterday. It has a huge body kit on it, tons of parts manufactures stickers that were probably not even in the car and hes instantly telling everyone there hes gona show what imports can do to domestics. Now he said its 2.0 i think and a manual but he claimed it was turbo'd. So we lined up together and when the flag dropped my car felt like its was majorly draggin ass. I wasnt spinnin but almost felt like i was cause i wanst going anywhere at first then once i got around 4 grand it finally took off and i ended up beatin him by 5 links easily. Which only reinforces the fact that ricers are retarded but does that sound like a slipping clutch to anyone? It only happens taking off but once im movin it runs great i just havent been able to figure that out.

did you smell anything funny clutch smoke?? ,,mine did the same thing when i was doing second gear clutch drops lol now i got a new clutch and the car jumps out of the hole like a beast :award

my cousins clutch went up and it was opposite, he could accelerate from a stop but it slipped at higher rpm's.
