+1 Sounds about right, I can fit about 13 gal once the light comes on and I believe the tank is somewhere in the range of 15-16 gal. There's between 2 and 3 gal left once the light comes on, and I've gone pretty far after that point. There's plenty of room to make it to a gas station.

The tank is 15.7 gal and Jason nailed it once that light comes on if you are cruising or parked on flat ground there is 2 gallons left in there. Should be about the same for Chevy also.

Do you drive that way for work? Hope you are not driving 15 miles to save $4.

i read in the ? ford manual , that when the light comes on you have 1/16 tank.
when my light comes on, i have about 1 1/2 gallons left.
one time i was driving on a slight incline, and my stryker 340 was sucking for the gas. i thought i was going to stall right there.

If you fill up 10 Gallons and drive 30 miles round trip your loosing money if you average 20 Miles a gallon youll burn 1.5 gallons of fuel going and coming back from the station or 5.25$ worth of gas at 3.50 a gallon. If you filled up locally and paid .30 more a gallon youde pay 3.00 more but come out about $2.25 ahead considering the mileage you just traveld for gas. its actually costing you to drive for gas.

Exactly what I was getting at. If it is on the way of your travels then get it. If you have to go out of your way then it is not worth it at all.
