3.73's or 4.10's

I want to get some gears soon, but I'm still trying to decide what to get. I have been wanting 3.73's for a while, but everyone keeps telling me go 4.10's. The reason I'm thinkin 3.73's is because I plan on making my car a beast... as in 700+ RWHP (those mods are a couple years away). I'm afraid that if I go 4.10's, the gears will be to short and I'll run out of gear by the end of the 1/4 mile (I really don't feel like having to make a fifth gear shift during a 1/4 mile). What do ya guys think???

4.10s will be too short for being blown, especially with that much hp
but they are fun n/a depends if you want to change them out or not

AH HA!!! I found a website that works and has tons of other calculators on it:

http://wallaceracing.com/Calculators.htm

I'm at about 2125 with stock 3.27's, 2425 with 3.73's, & 2665 with 4.10's.

Thanks for the advice though I think I might go 4.10's because I won't be putting a blower on for probably a couple of years and I'll just suck it up and change the gears to a taller set when I do that.

The age old question... I suggest 3.73s if you run a manual trans or 4.10s for an auto. My 3.73.s are plenty steep at only 400hp. I would have no 1st gear with 4.10s
