I am beginning to think I have a T-45. Which makes me somewhat happy. After my 3.73 install according to that calculator 5000rpm is equal to 148mph. Now 148 mph before 3.73's= around 4400. According to my dyno 4400rpm= 251whp and at 5000rpm I will be making my peak horsepower of 268whp. I wonder if the extra bit of power will actually increase my top speed slightly and finally make it to where I can bury my speedometer. (on a closed course)

Awesome. Also that calculator has provided me with some great information. I have detailed out all the gains my car receives from doing a roll on race between stock 3.27's and 3.73s. The average power difference in 3rd and 4th gear roll from 60-100 is about 25whp. I can see now why gears will help so much. I cannot wait for the install. Also the calculator has helped me figure out my optimal shift point when comparing to my dyno.

yeah that would be good. It was always in the modular section but never in the 99-04

im sure those above readings neglect air resistance, friction, etc.
Just wana add that w/ 4.10s I was pushing 115 MPH @ 6200 RPM at the track

PaladinMicro You can only go as fast as your horsepower allows. In the calculator it takes 188 hp to go 145 mph. For a T-3650 thats around 4000 rpms in fifth. It doesn't matter if you dyno 250 hp at 5000 rpms, wind and friction will stop you from going faster than 145 mph unless you have more than 188 hp at 4000 rpms. You need to know your power curve in order to determine top speed. At the top of the page Cliffyk has posted a link to his dyno sheet for reference.

Here is a graph with adjustable values to figure out your gears, trans, and tire sizes...

This should definitely be an excel spreadsheet. That would also let you graph shift points, as well as torque curves.
Plus auto's could be done but you'd have to figure the slip coefficient, and when the TC goes into lockup. Or you could just do top gear when lockup is engaged. Just a thought. I do this stuff for work. I could probably help.
