Windows Squeak?


Does anyone else have a passenger window that sounds like fingers on a chalkboard when rolling it down or up? lol

My driver side one isn't as bad. What can i do to get rid of this sound?

mine did it too, most annoying damn thing ever.

fix: the very front of the door has a verticle seal that the window slides up and down. when the seal dries out it makes it sound like a squeegie on glass. i was using leather conditioning wipes on my seats one day and i smeared it inside the seal and it completely went away and it has been months.

WD-40 wont work. you need some kind of oil or grease to smear in it.

yeah i got the same problem and it gets on my nerves makes me want to bust the window out, usually when it does it , its about 2-3 inches from being fully up and nearly quits moving

For those of you that have worked on your windows, whats up with the damn motor. Its got wayyyyyyy to much power.

Ford put smaller pulleys on those....
