HELP! my 99 GT won't start

My 99 GT 4.6 track car won't crank. We were putting new adjustable struts on all four corners this weekend. We put the rears on and drove it around the neighborhood. It handled so much better. Then we put on the front struts. When we went to test drive the car, it wouldn't crank. We did leave the ignition switch on, for about an hour, so we could turn the front wheels to reach each of the strut bolts. I know that was probably a mistake. Since then, I have un-hooked the battery to reset the computer and also verified that I have a good charge. Still no luck. It just turns over really fast and doesn't even try to crank. I'm stuck. Any suggestions?
Thanks!
Ben

sounds like you tripped the theft system that disables it front starting.... you can get it to a dealership and let them reset the computer, but there may be other ways around it

If rolls over than it is cranking. are you saying that it rolls over but is not getting spark/fuel ? is the theft light flashing when you get in the car and i mean a fast flash not the normal car is armed flash either? more info would help

Sounds like you killed your starter.

The starter works fine, it is turning over fast. It just doesn't start. I checked the fuel pump and I'm getting fuel, just no spark. Someone has suggested the crank position sensor is out. Where is that located. I need to look at the theft system as suggested above. Any other ideas?
Thanks,
Ben
