I just purchased a set of 18" saleene wheels from that company this week & put them on last night. Fit & chrome finish is outstanding even tho they are asian made.

Suggest checking ebay using "saleene wheel" in the search box. I did see some with rivets when I was looking, there may be a style you are searching for.

FYI:
One, that is not how you spell Saleen.
Two, the wheels he's looking for a Cobras, not Saleens.

Its just a typo puss head, I had no idea that my first post would have an effect on the space/time continuum.

As for the wheels, I stated " there may be a style you are searching for."

Nice reply to my first post on this forum. Just trying to help. Its your loss. I'll take my 40+ years of Ford line tech, oval track championships, straight line wins, chassis shop & blower experience elsewhere.

First off, you are over 40 and you call people puss head?
Second, in "40+ years of Ford line tech, oval track championships, straight line wins, chassis shop & blower experience" you never learned to spell the word Saleen? Once is a spelling error, twice in the same post is not.
Third, if you can't take someone correcting something little like that without throwing a hissy fit, good riddance.

Oh yeah, welcome to and goodbye from MM!

Why do you think the one inch will make that much of a difference? Those are some seriously sweet rims. I looked at them myself. I think the 17s would look fine.

That I understand, but if you really like the wheels I don't think the one inch will make a huge difference in the look. Of course it is your car though.

You know what would be original and look really sweet on your car?
18"x9/10.5 black chrome cobras. They are still 18" and you get the fatties in the back.

I don't see why it wouldn't. In all honest I've never seen black chrome on a Mustang in the streets, has anybody else?

No the Cobras don't, but if you go to ebay and search 'black chrome' and put in our years cars it will show you what is DD.
