Time for a new clutch!

Need some help here. Clutch is slipping already and i haven't even got it dyno tuned(again). The major mods are a KB blower running at around 11 psi with stage 2 cams 75 mm tb 90 mm mas air all that stuff... so some serious low end.. Also will upgrade in future for more psi or nitrous.

I have heard of Spec 2's or should i go with 3? Or a different brand. And is a flywheel needed? On a budget since i just dropped so much money on a forged block and blower. Curious on what you guys have done with similar setups.

i would recommend getting a centerforce dual friction clutch. Everybody loves the spec clutch, mainly bandwagon guys that have no experience in it. I have driven spec clutches and i have seen them hold power, but also seen 2 explode at the track. If you want the feel of a stock clutch with extreme holding power go with a centerforce. If it can stand up to a 6500rpm launch with over 600rwtq and still drive like a stock clutch then i think its good enough for you. A flywheel really shouldn't be needed, you can just resurface yours.

Awesome thanks, where would i get it resurfaced? Never swapped clutches for the mustang. Should i do it or just skip it and have someone else do it?

When you say it was too much clutch for your car, what do you mean? Was it hard to press down or what?

Haha ok cool last question (hopefully) Should i replace the clutch myself? Or take it to a shop. I have done it once on my 280 zx and it was a pain in the ass!

pedal feel was great, i'm not producing enough power to utilize it. according to a few tranny shops, it is too mch clutch for my set up and not allowing any slip what so ever. they are also saying that is what caused me to snap my input shaft.
