Well I took the Cobra to the track, had a great time but there was a glitch. The car would not shift into 4th gear at high rpm's. Never had this problem before cause I have raced a few cars here and there.

Only thing that has changed is I recently installed an MGW Shifter but it shifts into all the other gears at high rpms just fine. At lower rpms like daily driving it shifts just fine, even when I am a little aggressive it shifts into 4th, just not at 5500 or above. Any ideas?

Have you broken it in yet? Is it to the point where the shifts are lose, because when I first bought my MGW the shifter was tight as hell. I can't say anything. I seem to miss third with this shifter when racing. I'm going to chalk mine up tp to over excitement and trying to force it at the wrong angle.

Mine did that before I put the Royal Purple fluid in the tranny. Mine was 3rd gear though. It's like the syncros would't work at that high rpm. Now with the Royal Purple and the MGW it goes into every gear at anytime at any RPM.

I intend to do that when I put in my 4.10 gears.
