Question about the Harley Davidson F150

I know the Harley Davidson F150 has exterior mods, some suspention mods and and a new exhaust, but is there a difference in the engine? Are they faster than a regular F150? If so, by how much? Last night I was out riding around with a friend and we pulled up next to one at a light. I wasn't tryng to race him, but as soon as he heard my exhaust he got on it, so I did too. I pulled a good car and ahalf ahead of him, but as I screwed up third he came flying up on me like a freight train. Luckily there was a car in his lane because from the look of things it seems like he was about to fly by. I was just wondering what that have as far as under the hood.

PS - It was no the raised up black Harley Davidson F150. It was gold with chrome F150 wheels and badging and it was actually lower than most F150s. I don't know if that helps.

It looked new, but I'm not too familiar with the F150 body shapes so I can't be sure. It was in flawless condition.

The harley IMO is a better truck than a lightning. They are a 4 door and more practical than a lightning and with a few mods they are faster than a lightning.

Was it this bodystyle?

They are supercharged in certain years, and more than capable of running very low 14's stock so it is a very close race between a new edge GT and a Harley truck stock for stock. My friend has one with a lightning pulley upgrade and belltech suspension and my other bud with a bolt-on geard '02 GT usually can only put a little over a car on him, so they are bad ass trucks.

A Lightning is faster stock, but I'd take a Harley truck anyday. If I was going to get a truck I would want something practical and to me 4-doors>2-door. Also, the interior is about 100 times better in the Harley truck.
