99 stang surges when put in gear, or with ac on

help, i have a 99 mustang gt with a sc, auto trans, when you put it in gear, surges big time. it seems to be alot worse with ac on. no vacuum leaks found, changed idle control valve, running out of options.

what kind of sc?

do you have a tune?

vortech v2 sq, with the tune they sent me, since then i took off the sc, took everything back to stock, but still does it, just not as bad as with the sc.

I've had the same problem a few times with with 2000 model gt. It scared the shit out of me a few times, I've almost hit people at the gas pumps. I don't know what causes it either, and mine doesn't do it as much anymore.

Ok, few things. First, the tune they send sucks!
When did it start? anything done to the car before it started?

have you checked your pcv valve? My father's Grand Marquis was doing that crap and it went away when I changed the PCV valve.

Checked the timing sensors?

it used to do it once in a great while just a little when i first got the car, but with sc on its big time.only thing on it is cat back exhaust and i had ud pulleys on it but took them off with the sc..........ive changed the pcv valve, and how do you check the timing sensors? thanks
