Cobra Supercharger

Ok i am getting ready to blow my 2001 cobra. What is the best set up and where is a good place to get it. Also my buddy has a 1999 cobra and he is doing the swap for the 03-04 cobra eaton blower. What does he need to do in order to make that supercharger function. Any input would be great

i dont know how to do it but im sure its not cost effective and that blower isnt that great anyways

The stock eaton isn't worth the hassle. Tell you friend to get a procharger or a KB. Did he already buy the eaton off someone?

ya he got the eaton supercharger for cheap and now he wants to use it in his vechicle. He just didnt know what he had to get to accomodate the eaton supercharger

That's why they are cheap. Do a search because this subject has been brought up before and there was a guy that put a eaton on his V6. I know he had to do alot of fab work though. Check here:

its a huge pain in the ass to put that blower on his car. not worth the time or the money. its a shit blower. hell save money if he'll just sell that blower and then buy a procharger. theres a lot more involved than just throwing the blower on the engine and calling it good. klots of different stuff, i believe even the timing chain cover has to be replaced, as does the lower intake. just not worth the time or money to get ith that blower.

ok so i am buying a blower for my car. Where is a good place to get it and also i am considering running the vortech E trim and using a methonol kit from snow performance. Is that a good set up and where is a good place to get it

I love my Vortech T-trim...

Procharger D1 would be awesome for your car though...And truth be told will be an easier install to boot...
