I don't think it would look that good personally...I've never really liked carbon fiber.

yeah man its your car...also there are lots of other things you can do for weight reduction....aluminum driveshaft, lightweight wheels, rear seat delete, battery relocation, lightweight suspension parts and so on haha

i have a carbon fiber stalker 2 hood on my black mustang. it will be painted black once i get the whole car detailed... but honestly it looks good on black. Carbon on white or any other color left carbon fiber looks riced i think.

I dont know why everyone is so against carbon fiber. Its a great material, strong durable and lightweight, perfect for any car. If you dont like it paint it to match as you would any other hood and enjoy the weight saved. A good shape can use a thin layer to let the weave show though. Personally i think it looks good when u paint it but leave choice areas unpainted to accent the car.

i would leave your car the way it it. looks sick.
as far as the carbon fiber hoods go. the vis cowl hood looks sick and would look good on a dark car imo

Why is carbon fiber rice all the sudden? I think that is a stupid way of thinking. "All these things are rice because I don't like them and all these things are cool because I would put them on my car." Just because you don't want it for your car doesn't make it rice. I want a CF Cobra R 2000 or a Cobra R 3" cowl hood with a CF trunk to match if I could afford it.

that's what i've been wonderin neck.. i think it's jus because they see it so much on ricers that it automatically makes it a ricer thing to do.. when in all actuallity, carbon fiber is a great way to reduce the wait on ur car.. a fully carbon fiber car weighs almost half of what the original car weighed.. and if u dont like the look of carbon fiber, paint it.. paint aint heavy enuff to make that much of a weight difference in ur 1/4 mile times.. and yes it may cost more but hey, u get what u pay for IMO...

Personally I have no intention of painting it. I like the look of Carbon Fiber. I don't care who else has it, ricer or not, because it will look better on my car anyway.

I don't think its ricy at all, i just don't like the look of it. I could always paint it of course but its outta my price range either way. I've got nothin against carbon fiber personally, i guess it just comes down to personal preference and budget.

+1,000

you hit the nail on the head

IMO the ONLY thing bad about CF is the price, pound for pound its stronger than steel, light weight, and if you dont like the look of it, why not paint it? how in the hell is a material that is lighter, stronger, and IMO the best alternative for a hood ricey?
