What is a pusher fan? I've only heard of a flex fan, a clutch fan and an electric fan...

Brand new block has 400 miles on it. It actually has an exhaust problem the driver side heats up double than the left, and visably shakes (and rattles a little) So i think that is what is causing under hood tempatures to be way above normal. The actual block temp seems normal. But i am going to switch the ud water pump pulley to stock (thanks doc) and go to a 160 degree thermostat.

Ill try that royal purple too might as well. With the pulley and thermostat i think it will lower the temp a bit till i can fix the exhaust. I have a new clutch coming so exhaust will have to come down anyways.

My car has the same problem. In fact, is one the hottest running cars I've seen. It has a major exhaust leak from the driver's side header that heats up all the way through the firewall into my feet! That is driving me crazy.

nah, my long tubes are probably leaking from the EGR connect... We just did the gaskets two weeks ago with the heads, well AC did. I can't take any credit for that.

Anybody have any other ideas? Would doing something like putting heat resistant plastic wrap (one comes with kenne bell kit for the radiator hose) on both the intercooler hosing and the other radiator hose?

Im putting the water pump pulley and 160 thermostat on it tomorrow. And see if the auto parts store has some sort of lower temp coolant, like purple ice.
