cooling problems
Well, what can i do to get the engine bay cooler? I mean its running pretty damn hot enough to start damaging hoses (heat resistant hoses). I have the 180 degree thermo and a stalker 2 functional ram air. What else can be done? Better fan? or maybe a different setup on the hood for more circulation?
The damn KB is making too much heat! |

Hooked up and running. Full of coolant. It wasnt this hot the first time around but i have a road trip at the end of the week and driving 1500 miles scares me with it acting like its going to burn hoses. already has discoloring on hoses and some are starting to soften (breather hoses)

this what I got from them:
8. How long does the fluid last? The range you'll get out of our system depends on a couple of variables: - How much power you're making - The settings of your system - How aggressively you drive In most instances our standard 2 quart reservoir works well to provide the required amount of fluid. We have seen that a 2 quart reservoir provides enough fluid for a 400-500 hp car to make 12-15 full throttle quarter mile passes. For those looking to get more range out of their system, they can tap into their factory windshield washer reservoir and use it to hold water/methanol. This is a good option because most washer reservoirs have a large capacity (normally at least a gallon) plus they're already methanol resistant (washer fluid has methanol in it). Also, the washer reservoir is already under the hood so it doesn't require having to add another bulky item into the engine bay. The fitting needed to tap into your washer reservoir is available for $9.95. The standard 2 quart reservoir can be swapped out for a blukhead fitting at no cost.

Anything else you can think of that could help? Upgraded radiator fan maybe? |

they also make things you can pour in your tank and it cools the boost.
like "water wetter" just upgrade to a 4 core and you will have no issues

Hmm i used to have underdrive pulleys and i had to change the crank to stock because it was screwing with the supercharger... And i didnt do the underdrive pulleys the owner before me did, so i dont have stock ones. Would that be making the water pump working at sub par?

One, If you need a stock water pump pully I'll send you the one I bought to put on mine for $20 bucks. Two, Kenne Bell sends the blower with a 160 thermastat in it, did you change it out?
Edit* I'm sitting at work and not lookin at the site too often. If you want the pully you can email me at my work email christopher.neiss@usmc.mil

Does the royal purple "purple ice" coolant actually help lower temperatures like it says?
http://rpmoutlet.com/newv8cnltf.htm#6 or is it just another anti freeze |
