Very Wierd Dilemma somthin has happened with my thermostat housing (manifold side) i believe, and i sprung a coolant leak (small) out of the housing portion(aluminum part w/ 2 bolts. I think it warped from heat. .. So,.. to fix the leak i used rubber gasket material and a new thermostat. This fixed the leak... however.. very shortly after fixing this prob., a new one arose..Upon acceleration..mostly(1200-2300 rpm)ish but not limited to low rpms,.my baby sputters.... The only thing we could come up with was a fuel injection matter... so i used some lucas injector cleaner twice,.. and am considering fuel filter swap or sumthin.... can i get some thoughts/opinions,,..... feedback much appreciated

plug holes as in the lil basin resevoir they sit in,.. and how did you fix them prob... cuz if there is coolant leaking into the the plug holes wouldnt that be a bigger problem since shit is able to leak into the plugs etc... Now which plugs were the affected ones on your pony?,,..the ones directly behind the therm.?

well if the aluminum crossover was leaking, like mine was, when fixed the leak as you did, Toyota FIPG FTW I decided to plug my plugs to see if I was running rich because I had misstaekn the smell of the coolant burning off of the hot block for running rich. Anyway That is where I fould the coolant. Down the little holes that the spark plug boots go down to reach the plugs. I also spilled some in that direction when I took my radiator hose off. Anyway Keep the plug in and take medical gauze and soak it up. then take compressed air and spray it down there and make sure its dry. Then pull the plug and inspect it. You may have to replace the plugs that got wet.
And I had coolant in the first two clyinders behind the thermostat!
