Chrome wheels

Will chrome wheels be much heavier than the ugly silver 5-spoke factory wheels on my 2000 gt?

Depends on what style wheels you buy, but they will look 100x better.

Yeah I know that haha... I was just wondering if the weight difference will be noticeable and will the ride be different with 18's? I'm prolly going to go with a 18/9 front and 18/10 rear saleen replica. Real saleens are too damn expensive.

When I installed my oem bullet 18" rims the car seemed a little taller and noticeably slower. So I weighed then out on my bathroom scale and found that the 18's were about 15 to 18 lbs more per tire so that would total between 60 and 72 lbs. I'm running factory rims now. Good luck on your decision dude.

The 18s are heavier, but unless you are creating a car souly for the track the difference isn't that huge. I'm not calling bossman2kgt a liar, but that weight difference seems a bit much.
