air filter

Is it beneficial to have a larger size air filter? I have a CAI, but the filter seems small to me its a cone shape . ive seen some STANGS with filters that are more square and a lot larger. should i be headed to the part store now?

i'd stick with the same size filter that came with the CAI. all the testing done on that CAI was with that size filter. i don't think it will benefit you to have a bigger filter if the intake tube is the same size. it'll probably create more of a restriction at the tube inlet with the bigger filter.

I was just wondering how big of a filter you can get in there. My JLT wasn't a tight fit, but the size that came with it was pain enough for me. LOL
