car idles wierd now
ya i just installed my cai and now my car idle jumps around from about 500-700 and it has died twice
do i need to disconnect the battery and reconnect it to reset the computer since i unplugged the maf

nope, just drive it around until it adjusts.
Otherwise, did you re-connect everything again? MAF, any other sensor you might have disco? What type of CAI is it?

its a custom one but i thout since its getting more air, because i just had a fram before

if you unplugged the battery just try letting it run for 10 or 15 minutes before driving it...maybe that will help

If you umplug the battery then run it 5 mins with nothing on, then 5 mins with AC on so the computer can relearn. Also might wanna clean the IAC as well.

Check your vacuum line just incase you might of knocked it off.

Vac lines for sure.... double check the MAF conection. Go over evrything you diconnected/ reconnected. Probably somethin minor you might have missed
