Procharger & MAF???

Just curious... all the pics of the Procharger setups i've seen only show an air filter, then inlet tube, then it goes straight into the supercharger... just wondering, does theprocharger kit come with a MAF delete or something? Does it relocate it? If so where? And alos does it need to be upgraded with it? Thanks in advance...

yeah, what do you want the maf to read? you want it to read the air coming into the supercharger or after the supercharger puts it out? if your reading the air coming into the blower, your not getting a true air reading, becasue oince it goes through the blower, there is a shit ton more air.

yeah they can handle it just fine

Yeah... just didn't know. On my nissan and my GTI the MAF was before the turbo on the turbo inlet pipe, so, i wasn't too sure if it was the same kinda setup with a centri or not.

thatnks alot.... that helps alot. Do the blowthrough ATI's use the factory harness and connections, or is an aftermarker one needed w/ a MAF translater?

It used the fatory harness, but I did have to splice in a temp. sensor. They built the temp sensor in the factory MAF on 02+ Stangs and the earlier models had it plugged into the intake pipe.
