Which TB for 04 Saleen?
I still have the stock TB on my 04 S/C Saleen, I wanted to go with an aftermarket TB, which one do you guy recommend? I am just running the regular pulley which I believe is 8lbs. of boost. I was thinking of a diff. pulley and a larger TB.
THANKS!! Btw: I love this fkin car! It's quick and handles like a dream. Mustangs kick fkin ass! |

Thanks bro, yours looks badass too with that kit. I was lucky to get mine in such great condition, it only has 9k miles on it, not a single dent or scratch or chip on it. Whipple twin screw, 42lb injectors, tunable CAI, O/R X Pipe, Borla Exhaust. It sounds mean as hell just driving at normal speeds.
I wasn't sure about the vertical billet grille but I'm kinda starting to like it. I have the dyno at my office from the custom tune, I'll post numbers soon. I got #74 of the 750 S/C Saleens made in '04. I could have bought a Cobra with a KB on it probably for the same amount of money, but I just wanted a collector's type car instead. Now my black 01GT is my daily driver and I'll just keep it bolt on until I got the dough to do some crazy sh*t to it. I spent 4g's on the stereo in my GT so I better drive it as much as I can, I don't wanna put many miles on the Saleen. Anyways - Accufab it is! I'll see about getting it ported & polished - Also, could I change to a smaller pulley and get a little more boost? (I'm kinda new to the supercharged scene) THANKS!! |

. NBK is right, thats a crazy find, lol. But yea, you can change pulleys to get more boost, I'm sure one of the other members will comment on the details soon cause I don't know much about em either.
