we had Tropical Storm Ernesto roll through here last September, i think it was. I drove the stang to work with the JLT and let the wife drive the Explorer. i was sweating bullets the whole way home, hoping and praying to God that i wouldn't hydrolock the motor. not only was i impressed by the performance gains i got from the JLT, but i was amazed that i didn't hydrolock the motor, either. i had to drive through some wicked puddles, but i took it nice and slow and if i felt like i couldn't make it, i turned around and found a different way. you shouldn't have any issues at all.
