Shift Kit for all my automatic brothers....

OK.... For everyone who has an automatic stang, this is the shift for you.
Go to Transgo.com then go to reprograming kits. you want this one:
AODE-HD2
(4R70W)

AODE, 4R70W
91-04
Short, firm, full-throttle shifts that have “class”, performance and Durability. Back shift to any gear at your command.
Holds the gear you select to any rpm.
Has EPC relief to prevent hi line parts breakage.

I will be ordering mine in the am......

Anyone know if there is a need for that if you have an xcal2 with the shift points already adjusted?
Sorry to whore your thread...

When I get the kit im going to read the instructions and check it out. They say its very simple to install. Im not to keen with removing the valvebody but ill check it out. If I feel I cant do it ill take it some where... As for doing it with a tuner instead they said the tunner dosent remove the pressure from the bands it still lets it drag the bands between shifts.

Not to jack your thread or anything but I just did the jmod on my 2001 Mustang GT automatic. The tranny shifts 1-2 and 2-3 hard under WOT and will chirp the tires. I followed a few tutorials I found online and it works awesome!!

Putting in a shift kit is a cakewalk. Anyone with some reading ability and hand tools can get it done.
