MGW Shifter

Just installed my mgw shifter the other day, feels bullet proof and I love the feel of it as far as the shorter throws go and what not. For those of you who have this shifter is it normal for it to be not near as smooth as the stock shifter, I had the typical first to second grind when the car was cold and what not, this doesn't grind, just doesn't seem that smooth at all.

Ummmm, you just installed it. It took me two days to break mine in. I went for lomng drives and would put in the clutch and go through the gears at every red light. It just has to loosen up. You see in a couple days. :wink

I love my MGW! Alot of people have the Steeda tri-ax, but I've driven both and I like the MGW much better.

If you have a stock clutch Pull up on the clutch pedal till it stops, hold for 3 secs, then press in all the way with foot and hold 3 secs, start car and BAM it will shift better.

That's how you adjust your clutch.

I also love my MGW shifter. Give it a few days of solid driving and you'll realise what everyone is talking about.
