Installing Lowering Springs, The Easiest Way

I know this question comes up a lot and for all the STICKY nazis' in here I DID use the search function for this but no help, at least not where I need it. I eventually wanna install eibach Lowering springs in my 2001 GT but I dont have a few things, a lift, a machine that pulls the entire suspension assembly out or any air tools. What I do have is a jack, a set of jack stands and a general idea of how much pressure these things are under. I looked online and found a step-by-step guide to what has to be probably THE dumbest way of removing these things, meaning unbolting the strut or shock and guiding it out from under the wheel well by letting the lower control arm sit slowely down on a jack. Someone told me that doing the first step in that guide would cause a bunch of bearings to fall out and screw everything up. Does anyone here (who knows what they are talking about, no offense I just dont need 100 responses telling me they should "dehhh cum rite out wen you dehhh yank on dem dehhh") have a safe and relatively easy way of removing the stock front and rear coil springs and installing new ones, hopefully without the purchase of anymore expensive tools. Thanks for any help. Greg
Also, Im aware that removal of the rear springs means a delicate re-positioning of brake assembly and what not, but Im not sure on any specifics...this car DOES have ABS obviously, and one more thing the space I work on the car in my garage in is pretty small.

Thanks. Looks like the course of action Ill have to take...a few things. The spring compressor can just drop in from the top and I can remove the spring that way? If doing that, do I even need to play around with the strut tower? Id rather not have to remove the tie rod ends and then have to go in for another wheel alignment..not to mention those things are a huge pain to remove...What I had in mind was supporting the lower control arm for safety, then remove the caliper and just compress the spring while its in its pirch, followed by installing the new one the same way. As for rear, can I do it the same way?

we took the struts out of the strut towers to get mine out...and if you go that route, you will pretty much HAVE to have a good impact gun to get the top nut broke loose... not saying you cant get the top nut off without it, but it will take quite a while!!

also for the rears, you will have to remove the quad shocks to get to it, but the rears were much more simple than the front

and with just about any install, having a second set of hands is very helpful!
