that other thread reminded me of something i wanted to ask ya'll about. as i said earlier, i used to have 275's on the front and 255's on the back and the rear of the car felt more sturdy and tight than it does now with the same 275's on the front and matching 275's on the rear. do yall think there would be anything wrong with puttin 255's on the back again and keepin the 275's on the front?

and i know that wider tires on the back would grip the road better but i just hate the loose rear end feeling

How long have you had them on there? Maybe you should give it some more time. You might get used to it.

Just read the other thread. Wider tires are better for traction if you are going straight, not for turning. They would not be ideal for Canyon runs.

You want feather-touch steering in these things, I have 245s' on my front and 275 in the rear. To tell the truth, I like the smaller tires on the back also, but with the 275s' the ass dont slip away quite like it used to...as for the front, if you wanna get out of the way of a hidden pothole real quick, youll find a smaller tire in the front makes for quicker response...but flying down the highway you'll notice the difficulty in controlling it.
