SCT trouble
i just got the sct live wire for my 01. i tried to load the custom tune on my frineds 03 gt and the car would not start...we than reset the car to the stock setting and same thing..the car would crank but not turn over...the sct trouble codes said p1000 and p1260...did using the sct screw the car up and if so how do we get it back to normal

did you flash his car with your computer in the SCT?
that would be why.. the pc's are different. I hope the sct saved the stock tune from his car first or your kinda screwed.. you will have to tow it to Ford and let them flash it back to stock

i don't think you are supposed to be putting your tunes that are on your car on another persons car, cause if that was the case hell one friend could buy an sct livewire and tune everyones car with one unit, they won't make money that way.
