Engine question, 302?
this may seem stupid but im just unaware of the boss 302 blocks
would it mount to our cars, and anything else factory or would i need to get new everything?

well is the size of the block the same and its just bored out, or is it bigger, which means nothing will fit above the pistons?

you are aware these arent the modular motors right
you can make anything work you just gotta justify it in your mind and finaces on that note nothing as far as engine would be the same not sure about tranny but if your a stick car new bellhousing etc..... maybe not sure and you would probably need to be an electrical engineer to get the wiring system to work

Yeah man, those are pushrod motors, like the old 5.0s. the 5.0 mod motors are ethier bored out to 3.700 inches or stroked with a 3.75 inch stroke, if i am not mistaken

i never really understood the difference between modular and pushrod to be honest. aside from maybe a fan clutch lol

well a push rod has a cam down the center of the motor and then push rods from that to the valves in the heads basically. Where our mod motors, have 2 cams 1 in each head. the timing of the cams is done by chains and sprokets on the cams. DOHC have 2 cams per head.
