I'm not really schooled up on trubo kits, but why do you have to get a new suspension, k-member, and control arms just for a turbo?? Does it have something to do with the piping?? Or is it something that you should REALLY do because of the power you'll be putting out? Just curious...

Not really. You can adjust them to any height you want.

Does anyone here have coilovers besides the guy with the hellion kit .. I've installed the granatellis .. he said .. affordable ok coil overs .. they are just that .. they work .. I had no problems on the install and they set up very well ... they aren't 1500 dollar coilovers .. but they do work well ...

Just out of curiousity, why don't you just put your own kit together? Why pay all that money for the hellion? You could piece one togther for alot less than that. I don't know what HP you want to reach so it might be worth it...

well the hp kit is quite a bit, but it does come with quite a bit of stuff for the price, k-member, coil overs, control arms, fuel injectors, 2 twin 57mm turbos, all the piping, bov, waste gate, intercooler, and maybe a few more things im forgetting. its capable of 850ish hp. lol

Oh ok you're going all the way up there in HP...lol. Nevermind then. I didn't think about the turbo size for that kind of application. That makes sense. I'm putting together a TT kit but only aiming between 320 and 400 HP max.

yeah i forgot but it also comes with headers, midpipe, and a fuel pump, im not really aiming that high, more around 5-600, but once the engine is modded, it'd be nice to have that much power available to you. expensive though

Yeah actually you can...lol! I found this page where type in what kind of fuel, # of turbos, yes/no intercooler, engine size in CC, max RPM, and average boost you want. After plugging in the stuff I wanted, it said a TT-T3 set up intercooler would give me like 360HP +/-. at 4 pounds of boost per turbo. And I know that T3's can go up to about 13psi before satring to mess them up.

If I am doing a full PI swap would running these turbos be that big of a deal? Also, between 300-400 HP I shouldn't be needing to worry about internals right?

Well for the most part this thread is about coil overs .. start a new thread on turbos and then someone will be glad to answer your questions on them .. there is no reason to run a twin setup for that low of hp goals .. a single in your case will be more beneficial and cheaper .. anyway .. back to the coilovers. . have you decided on anythign yet ... i wish my buddy didn't go off to law school or I'd show you pics of the coil overs i put on there .. anyway .. 5 weeks and no problems with the granatellis .. so for the money ... with the kyb shocks that ride great .. i don't know why you'd want aynthing else ..

Yeah my bad for jumping subjects. I have the habbit of doing that. Have you checked out UPR for their K-member Kit?? I saw it in a MM&FF and it seemed like a pretty good price. Came with alot of stuff. and it was only like $700.
