Discussing 3.73's or 4.10's..need help. dont know much in the 99-04 Forum. ok all i know is that i want gears cause they will make me quiker ...

3.73's or 4.10's..need help. dont know much


ok all i know is that i want gears cause they will make me quiker but i dont know what ones to get. i have a 2002 gt. i am almost neevr on the highway. i jut want to know what the differecne b/w is the gas mileage and my top end. at the 1/4 i am t the top of third, how much will that change? thnak guys.

get 4.10s. in the 1320 you will be in the middle of 4th with the 4.10s. 4.10s could actually improve your gas milage.

4.10's FTMFW....

ur only gonna lose about 1-2mpg on the highway........and yea, u should improve ur gas mileage a smidge city/town...

what about time? im all stock expect for flowmasters and my best time is 13.8.....what should i expect?

if you dont do much highway driving... 4.30's!!!

they would help a lot with city driving as well.... and should knock off several tenths of your previous time with some seat time and stickier tires....

street tires will not help you at alll with 4.30s

I droped .5 of a second going from 2.73s to 4.10s

4.10's if n/a, i have them and they are great on motor and around town driving. 3.73's for a power adder, i hate my gears on the bottle. my hwy mpg went to shit with my 4.10's, but use damn near no gas in town.

4.10 i have them on my gt and love them. You will be disappointed if you get 3.73

I got 3:73's and hated them, went to 4:10's and was in love with them. But...... if you ever want to SuperCharge your car do not get the 4:10's go with 3:73 cause you'll run out of gear to fast in the 4:10's. If you plan on doing bolt ons and so on 4:10's all the way.

are you guys serious about getting better mpg w/ 4.10's over the stock 3.27's in the city? how is this possible?
