is it possible to make our stock GT hood scoops functional? im sure it wouldnt be worth the time and money but im just wondering

Alot of fab work to turn it into a functional ram air. I've heard it's been done, but never seen it. I also heard the guy spent way more than the minimal gains were worth.

Yep +1 to what everyone said. Unless you're running with something that could really use the extra air (bigger cams, a turbo or S/C, better heads), it won't be worth it. And even then, if you're running that stuff, the ram air doesn't really start to show what little gains it gives until you're really moving down the road.
