9-11 pounds of boost.

450-HP is when shit starts to break on a stock rotating assembly

lol.... whats the fun in doin that? then all that hp is a waste. how can different tunes make more hp safe? im getting a paxton sc and i wanna push the most possible without having to forge my stuff. As soon as i get it on im gonna get it tuned at jms in mississippi probably. or running with the devil. but how can it handle more hp in different tunes

The tune can determine the amount of stress put on the engine parts. Say the car is untuned and you get alot of torque in the low RPMs but it dies out toward the top. If you launch really hard that could blow your engine because it puts too much stress on the internals at one certain point. A tune can help your car have an even torque curve the distributes the power more evenly thoughout the RPM band.
