stock mach 1 block

If you take the stock aluminum block from a mach 1 and put forged internals in it, how much abuse can it take horsepower wise? Thanks guys

Upwards of 600ish. I think that's safe.

You should, however, prove dragnracin wrong and blow that bitch sky high with 26psi from a nice turbo!!!!

I had a Mach 1 block that i built in my cobra. Made somewhere between 900-1000 hp at the crank. The block now has a crack in it somewhere but they are good to at least 600-700 with no problems in my opinion

haha try being a senior in High school, having a shitty job that only pays 6.50/hr and driving 15 miles to school everyday, after school i go to my shitty job 30 miles away from school work for 5 hrs until 9, drive home about 15 miles, start on my endless homework (i go to a queer college prep school), go to bed around 1 or so, then get up at 6.30 to start another shitty day just like the one before, day in and day out. the only free day i have is sunday. All this to meet the god damn $925 insurance every 3 effin months, plus the crazy amount of gas i burn!!! All this because i have a stang...

In the long run its worth keeping it though, its been my dream since i was like 5 to own a mustang... my parents bought me everything until after they got me the stang, they told me if i were to get it, it will be the last thing they ever pay for... and they're holding to it lol

God i'm not ready to grow up lol

i kno lol... but starting next summer i'm working at a car audio shop installing and all that good stuff... one of my good friends is the owner and he said if i was a good hard worker i could someday become manager and make good good money.

Also i'm getting my paramedic liscense in about 4 months... also i'm going through college and getting my business and entrepneruship major so i can manage or oven own a company sometime, then after college i'm going to get a firescience degree and being a fireman on top of that.

I've already met the girl i'm going to marry too and she's at college (living at home)... nursing school. so i'm pretty much set, but i dont want to be too confident ya kno

wow! thats great weems! congrats man.

wtf tho how can u get 180/month? i have a clean history, never had a crash or any dispute. and you have a freakin mach 1! i'm sure the insurance is more than a gt.

how did u come across your car? did ur parents get it for u or did u purchase it? I wasnt supposed to get one until HS graduation but they decided to get me on early as long as i made no lower than a 3.8 GPA which really shouldnt b that hard.

Its 130 not 180

I have no clue how its so low , I have state farm...

And I starting building credit the day I turned 18 and I just took the dealership 5k (what I sold my notch for) and they let me get it..
