raceruler03, nitrous install pics
This is just a few of the miscellaneous pics of a couple different interesting mounts.
This is where I mounted the electrical box for the bottle heater. I forgot to take a pic of it still mounted! The bolt you see is under the pad that sits on top of the back seats. Just lay the seats down and you'll see 3 bolts there. They also provide a good place to ground everything. While you there look on the back side of this bold and there will be a metal clip. You can put an "eye" hook on the end of the ground wires in that clip and then run the bolt through it. ![]() Actually I do have a shot of that piece... ![]() This is the bottle in the trunk with all the wires run to it. It could be a cleaner install if you wanted to run everything under the carpet, but then you would need to find another place to mount the electrical box for the thermostat and bottle warmer. ![]() This is the electrical box that controls power to the solenoids, from the window switch and arming switch. It gets it's signals from those 2 and the microswitch near the throttle body. I mounted this in an old hole in the fender well. Be sure to keep this pointed with the wires facing the ground as much as possible to prevent water build up. ![]() This is the mircoswitch. It only has 2 wires from it, 1 ground and 1 to the window switch, which then runs to the solenoids. ![]() Here is where I mounted the solenoids. It should mount in the same in the same spot on your car. There is a bundle of electrics that i moved and put a bolt in a hole in the fire wall for the mounting bracket for the solenoids. ![]() This is the 3 position switch in the front cupholder. It's a pretty clean install, I just had to drill a hole in the front of the cupholder to run the wires through. ![]() If you remove the cover and boot over the shifter you can run some of the wires from the switch to the box in the engine bay. I used one of the bolts on the shifter plate there for a ground from the switch. ![]() Also, if you don't use your cigarette lighter you can cut that wire and use it for power to the switch. Just get a test light (about $3) to find which one is the ground and which one is power.

I'll try to get some more up for you soon. If you have any specific questions just post them up and I'll get a response to it. It's a pretty straight forward install, just be sure to measure twice and cut once. You will need to get some electrical wire connectors to put it all back together. Pick up a variety pack at a local auto parts store.

I never hooked up the purge. I have it new in the box, and it's probably the easiest part to put on the entire kit, but I never put it on... I'm just lazy like that.
The only thing to a purge is a power source, a good ground, and putting the purge solenoid on the nitrous line. Then run the purge line to wherever you want to shoot the gas out at. VERY SIMPLE!!! Just ask whatever and I'll get an answer to it. This is all my own experience so if anyone has anythin to add or critique then just throw it up here.

Looks good. What was the total cost of this entire kit and what was the name of it? A model number would be good if you have it. Did this all come together or were there things you bought seperately?

The kit was from Coldfusion. I paid roughly $1200 for all the parts.
The basic kit was just that. A bottle, feed line, solenoids, electricals and purge. I bought the switch, bottle heater, window switch, remote bottle opener, and progressive controller seperatly. crazylegs is a vendor on the board here. Check with him for current prices on a new kit for you stangs. I bought all the parts from him short of the MSD window switch.
