i ran low 11s with my procharger it made 453 rwhp and i ran 11.20 but i wouldnt run another procharger on my car unless it was an f series.
the guy didnt say he was running 8 psi. in the originall psot he said the guy was running 12 psi, so at an average of say 15 hp per psi, thats nearly 60 extra hp, thats plenty to get the caar into the 11s. if not your a crappy driver |

From what I understand, a Procharger at 12 psi can expect a bit more than 65 extra hp. I know that Procharger claims an 80% power boost. I know that's quite ambitious, but I know that the SC will put out a bit more than just 65 extra HP.
And I don't think a car with only 325 HP could do 11's, considering I know some 500 HP cars that are barely into the 11's. |

I run mid 13's (2.3 60ft) on street tires with my P1SC, and thats at high altitude. Im hoping for mid 12's with some sticky tires. Cant argue with Procharger...i went from 235rwhp to 421rwhp at 10psi and a good tune. thats damn near 100% gain.

First time I ever went to a track was last Nov. I was making 431/419. The very first run on a stock suspension and 245/45/17 sumitomo tires I did a 12.8 @ 116. The next week in great air I did 12.6 @ 121 but that was in great air and lower elevation. The da was -700 lol, and the temp was 45*. There were bolt on 05's in the 12.7-12.8's. Thats how good the conditions were. They were also better drivers than I. They were getting 1.7-1.8 60's compared to my 2.1's and 2.2's.
That winter I installed some headers and just dropped in some S292 HP cams using a AFM cam retention tool. Not degreed and still the stock valve springs. I went from 431 to 515. I then installed some 17x9/17x10.5" Deep dish cobra R rims with Sumitomo 245/45 in the front and 315/35 17 in the back. That killed my new found hp a little I'm sure . They where almost twice as heavy than the stockers. I went to track with the higher elevation and the temps were hot. My best run was 12.2 at 123 2.2 60" I finally installed some 315/35/17" MT' DR's. This was on a hot day and I went from the 12.2 to a 11.7 at 122 . Half a second with just tires. I have since been practicing and have managed to get it to a 11.37 at 124.8 in a little cooler air at the same track.
Procharger makes some good Supercharger units. I'm just not a fan of the P1SC. On 2v 4.6's they have hard time breaking 520 hp even with heads and cams while pushing a good bit of psi. But I have seen on more than one occasion a S-trim Vortech breaking 600 on a 2v 4.6. Not to mention all the leaky seals a lot of friends had on there P1SC's

hes right about breaking 520. the only stock part on my engine is the intake manifold and i am right at 520rwhp. i still like the blower but its definitely the limiting factor right now

I would like heads but I'm to lazy to tear it back apart lol. I will probably get the P-51 intake before I do heads. Then mabye upgrade to a T trim and go to an 8rib.

the upgrade is around 1200. with the same size pulley on after the upgrade you should see 5 more pounds of boost.

First post, yay...
I have an 01 GT with a P1SC running 10 psi. My only other mods are exhaust and 4.10 gears, stock suspension. With stock tires, the best I could do was 13.2@110 so you can see how bad of a driver I am. First time out running 15" MT ET streets I managed a 12.6@114. I still suck at driving. |

High 11's on a stock suspension and stock bottom end would definately be hard.
I have a P1SC with a 3.3 pulley, 8 rib setup, P-51, 4.10's, stage 3 clutch, yada yada yada and I am still in the low 12's on Drag Radials. When I first put the Blower on, had the stock pulley, 6 rib, and a PI intake and did a best 12.7@ 113 With a 2.0 60' and completely stock suspension except for Eibach Springs. Im sure on a stock setup and slicks mid 12's are obtainable, but not 11's. I have had my P1SC for over 2 years and it has been on my last car (Marauder) and my current car (2001 GT) No leaks, noises (except blower whistle at idle) and it performs great. If you are looking to push 500+rwhp, the P1SC is not the way to go. You will max it out and it will have a shorter life. At that point I would get a D1SC.....or do like I am going to do an F1.
