D1SC

OK, most of you know that I am not a very educated person when it comes to superchargers. So, I have a question that I am sure will get mixxed results.
With a fully built motor with power much like I have put out in the past (around 310HP), some strong SC specific cams, and a Procharger D1SC, how much HP would I be capable of producing- hypothetically speaking?
Also, how much boost is the D1SC capable of efficiently maintaining? The Procharger website lists the maximum PSI of this unit at 32 lbs., but I am almost positive that this rating is slightly higher than the real world number.

I believe it is capable of supporting up to 800-900 hp

it starts dropping off in performance at around 18 PSI and you wil need a cog to do that amout of PSI effecinently!

you could definitely make 18psi easily with it. i am making 13 psi with a pseries blower with vt heads and blower cams. i think with my set up if i upgraded to the d series it would make over 600rwhp. the d series is a good blower.

i see the most you make with that is the middle to upper 600rwhp range. And that with race heads and some healthy cams and intake. It is a pretty good blower but not that effiecient at upper boost levels. Just get crazy and get the new and improved F1C, capable of efficiently pushing 30lbs

there are guys taking the d1sc past the 800rwhp mark efficiently. just like you stated, that motor will just have to be built specific for the high boost. much more than that, the f-1 will be the better choice.
