i own a bullitt with 91 on the clock these r the mods

160 thermo
long tube headers
slp catback, with straight pipes no cats
x pipe
recenater mufflers
(2 1/2 tubing)
lower control arms
panhard bar
4.10's
predetor with custom tuning
deep dish bullitts
short shifter
100 shot zex wet
i replaced the iac, cleaned the filter and maf. sprayed some stuff like sea foam in the system to clean everything reguler motorcraft recomended oil and im pushing 263 naw where a lil while ago i was pushing 270(n/a) i lost 4 hp and still with all of this. shouldnt i get more power? my numbers on spray r 330rwhp is this right or is something wrong? i know the dyno reads the car off cuz of the gears. how does that work, and i did this in 315 sumitomos if that helps.

welcome to the forums.

sounds like you need a dyno tune instead of a canned tune.

your numbers will vary based on weather conditions. i wouldn't think too much of just a few horsepower difference.

the numbers sound pretty good but i think you should be getting more out of your nitrous. you're only getting 60hp out of the 100 shot, you should be getting close to a 100 with a good tune.

he's obviously had it on a dyno so why is it hard to believe that they didn't tune while it was on there

yea well i also forgot to mention the botle opener and purge kit.. it was done by the guys at the speedway. i seen a bullitt there all the time and figured they reg my car. i remember that they said that i should only tap the purge like 2 times to let the air out. i went to the track and they said to do it till u c white smoke. this makes more sence 2 me is that true

dyno's can read different every time you go, at the same dyno i made 296rwhp and went back the following month and made 283rwhp, You are not losing hp, just going to different every time depending on weather, how hot the car is, the load they put on the car. The real difference is in the way it drives and how fast you go at the track.

Vegas = Extremely high temps = not so happy engine

I was stationed out there and the hotter it got, the more power I lost. Same thing out here, plus I have 4,000% humidity. Effing Alabama. Anyway, heat will make your car very not happy. Definitely robs some of it's power.

I used to love driving up around Red Rock/Blue Diamond. The desert is gorgeous out there.
