It's on the left side of your balancer slightly to the rear just folloe the wire, it the sensor goes into the front engine cover.

ok so i went back today and come to find out while yes my car is a 2002 for some reason the cps is a 2001 not a gt. anyway i got it replaced changed the spark plug for cylinder one (where it was misfiring) and took her for a spin.

well of course my car hates me so its still running like ass.

lets see so far i've had 3 codes

egr flow insufficient
crankshaft position sensor
and misfire in cylinder 1

and ive replaced

egr valve
egr position sensor
passenger side exhaust manifold (snapped for some reason)
all new plugs and wires
new fuel filter
cps
and the air filter

i've decided im done replacing working parts so im finally giving in and taking to get a diagnostic run.

on a happier note my tail light tint came in today and looks great
