clutch pedal making noise

I have had my car for about 7mounths or so and ever sense i had the car it seems like the cluth peadal is ticking it seems like the cable that might run from the pedal to im guessing the tranny...i can even feel the pedal shocking if i just lightly hold my foot over the pedal. Of course the nose and shacking stops when i press the pedal. Could this just be a loose cable/rod or could thins be an early worning sign from the tranny??

A throwout bearing is an important part of your clutch, it does what is says, it throws the clutch pedal back out and allows the clutch assembly to return to a disengaged position when not shifting gears...If you let it get any worse, eventually your clutch will freeze and you wont be able to shift gears.

mine does it too, it always has. and sometimes it squeaks when the clutch is all the way out too... its pretty fucking annoying i'm about to drop the tranny and put a new clutch and throwout bearing in it.

It is really annoying...is this a repair that is costly?? Is it worth the money to just get a new performence clutch and bearing??

You could do just the throwout bearing and that isnt expensive at all. But since you still have to drop the tranny you would be best off to just buy a new clutch and do it all at once.

My new cluctch goes in tomorrow. Not cheap at all. I was going to buy an aluminum fly wheel, but that would have put it over $650 from AM. While your there may as well replace the rear main seal. Cheap part and it's right there when you remove the clutch.
