Sounds quiet to me. Doesn't sound bad, just not very loud.

That's what I have. Pypes o/r x with 40's. You'll like it man! Can't beat it for the price. Go with Pypes catback if you have enough money. Listen to acmiller's car. I think it has that setup with a cam. Sounds awesome.

If you go out and buy pypes expecting it to sound like AC's you will be deeply disappointed.

I have a MAC O/R X-pipe with Flowmaster 40s on a '99 GT.

It sounds great, beautiful even, HOWEVER, the car gets a very choppy glasspack type sound at certain RPMs... extremely loud. It can be cut out instantly with minor throttle adjustments, but it is kind of annoying sometimes. Is it enough to make me regret the muffler choice? Hell no.

I don't hate the sound, it's just unique.. Generally, x pipes are run without chambered mufflers.

Anyway, here is a clip of my car with 40s and a BBK O/R X-pipe.

If you go out and buy pypes expecting it to sound like AC's you will be deeply disappointed.
Yeah I know I'm just saying his is probably the best sounding with pypes from the header back. His cam makes it sound SWEET!!

Your exhaust would have to be pretty bad for cams to not make it sound 100x better. Like Dmachine keeps telling people how good flows are because of how good his car sounds. If you buy Flows expecting your car to sound like Dmachines you will be deeply disappoibted again. His cams and dumps completely alter the sound to make it sound so much better.
