Dyno Tuning for Crate Engine

This question is more straight foward and easy than the title says, but looking into crate engines for my GT I see a lot of power in these Ford racing engines...Obviously I know the rules behind getting a brand new engine dropped into your car, but someone told me that if I have a good engine shop put the motor in and dyno tune it I wouldnt have to worry about babying it...I could just take it out of the shop and beat the hell out of it.

You can beat the shit out of a Honda and the damn things won't die, but they don't usually go fast enough to try risky shit either.

Why would beating the sh*t out of your engine as soon as possible be on your to-do list?

With any new or just rebuilt engine you have to follow proper break in if you want it to last.

its all a matter of opinion, they are a couple of engine builders that say break in the motor the way you would normally drive it which if you are going to beat the shit out of it beat the shit out of it. But if you have a motor put in and break it in and then get it tuned then ya beat the shit out of it. And another thing don't buy a fuckin engine from Ford. VT, MPH, MMR, DSS, are all engines that you can get. Stay away from SHM

Thats what my point was, redlining it on the dyno and making adjustments anything to make sure it WONT blow when I ride it hard on the street. Im going for a Ford engine cause I dont need anything more powerfull than that, plus I dont wanna have to take any extreme measures to keep the car smog and street legal on LI....Im dont wanna put that rear-end in jeapordy either, I know people who go so crazy under the hood they forget to prepare the rest of the car for that much HP. Back to my original point, if I found a complete engine replacement for an 03 Cobra or Mach 1 that has NO miles on it (I mean NEW) taking it to an engine shop and letting them put it in and dyno it is the safest way to ensure I dont blow it on the street?

No, dropping a crate engine in at home with an engine crane and air tools is when you have to put 5,000 grandma miles on it with deadline oil changes etc...Not the case when you have it broken in by an engine shop. They can get the engine to put out its most power without getting cracks in the cyllinder walls or damaging the crank shaft, thats what they're there for.
