For K&N filters i would just go online because they are very expensive and i know stores here in dallas do not keep them. I dont know if it would benifit you a ton though.

Fram for me. advance auto carries K&N in stock, but they are twice the price of every other filter out there.

I've heard from several people not to use Fram. Go with Motorcraft.

Nobody is saying Fram will shut down your car so you wouldn't notice a problem. I use K&N oil filters. They're not expensive to me. I get the at Advanced Auto Parts a few blocks from my house. I was told either K&N or Mobil One were the two best because of the material the filter was made out of.

isn't that a waste? with today's oils you can safely go much longer than that, unless you beat the crap out of your car on a daily basis
