Im doing this in a couple different phases

Phase one Ill be redoing the motor to get it ready to take the boost ill be tossing at it. the plan is as follows

Replace Forged I beam rods with Forged H beam Rods/ ARP hardware
Keep stock ported heads
new main bearing kit
Rebalance rotating assembly
Install whatever Turbo cams I buy
put the motor back together
Complete Transmission overhaul with new converter to match cams.
remove 373 gears install 327 gears.
Button her up and reinstall the motor.

This should complete all my motor trans work then off to the next phase

CG Fabrication forward facing twin turbo headers WITH AIR CONDITIONING retention!!
Fab up my own exhaust from the downpipe back
Precision Ball bearing Turbos " size to be determined
Tread stone TRTT series intercooler
46MM waste gates
50MM BOV'S
Boost controller

Ill take pictures as I go as far as fabbing ETC.
2slow is coming down Friday to help me get the motor and trans out so the party can begin.:)

Im building and buying more then I want this time instead of building and maxing out what I have.

Its going to be a project over the winter months, I decided to break it up into 2 phases in case I change my mind on something Im not sitting here with a garage full of parts I don't want again. Also I get into a hurry every time I have to much on hand so im going to milk this since I have till spring.

I was waiting on you to offer up some info!! here are the springs im currently running
PAC 2v beehive spring, 1.650 install height, 110lbs seat, 265 open.

I am pretty happy with what I hear about CG and his work which is why I decided to go with his hot side minus the exhaust part cause he just don't make it.
The turbos, wastes gates etc will be the last thing I buy cause the motor is getting 100% done first.
What size turbos do you recommend?

The Forged I beams I have are rated at 750 the H beams I bought are rated at 900 or 1000!! I don't want to have a rod at its expected maximum capacity so I decided to upgrade them. My motor only has about 6000 miles on it.

So this CG Fab TT Kit mounts the snails in the engine-bay? You should put twin 62mm on it and shoot for 900whp+. What piston rings are you running currently and are you going to swap while it's torn apart.

I am not sure what cams im running to be honest those are still to be determined.

LOL he is actually helping me out this week so if it does Ill just blame him for putting me over the top, one thing for sure is we will have the baddest 2V mustangs in this part of Tennessee.

I wish you luck with your build. After the turbo build then what? You enjoy the building more than the having. What is next?

#28 ·
I do enjoy the building part, especially when it all finally comes together. When I get dome with this ill be building an all out track car out of a 96 I picked up a while back and stashed in my barn.

Sounds like a badass build man, good luck! Look forward to seeing the progress.
Thanks man

Thanks I suppose right now the only thing I am wondering is if the OEM Crank balancer is appropriate for this setup now.

Yes I talked to Caleb today and he is making a twin setup for me, and from what we discussed there is no oil filter relocation or any of that invlolved so it sounds like a good setup. It pretty much the same as the 4V that he has listed on his site.
