Gas milage for supercharged GT

im looking at buying a 2001 GT KB supercharged with several mods. Im kind of hesitant on buying because the car has 33000 miles and i really dont know how much life is expected to be left for the engine. How many mpgs are other people getting on supercharged gt's? Also does anyone know how much life is left assuming that the s/c has been on all 33000 miles?

shouldnt be worrying about gas mileage if you buying a mustang nevermind a supercharged one.

the motor can last a long time, as long as its been taking car, by this i mean regular maintinence and not being beaten on.

tune has a big factor in it also

the tune is a huge factor in it.

33k is nothing on a mustang man.

buy it.

just remember with a KB... always have at least a 1/4 tank of gas

Welcome to the forums by the way

i heard that in normal driving conditions a super/turbocharger can actually increase your mileage..

151k and plans to charge it ... as long as a car is treated like a wife and not a hooker ... then you can do what ever you want to it

gas is same or better untill you stomp on it then it uses the fully potential of those 36 or 42 pound injectors

Your tune will affect how much it costs to put gas in you car based on octane so if your tight on money then I wouldnt buy a stang with a s/c.

Who looks to buy a KBed Mustang and worries about gas mileage? You can't have you cake and eat it too. Having a fast ass car takes some sacrafice.

You don't get too much MPG I can tell you that.

If you stay out of it and drive my like grandma than it helps a bit but not too much. I think the best I can get is around 18 but I usually get worse cause I don't drive like a sissy and I don't care about MPG.

Thats why I have a Mustang with a S/C and other goodies and not a civic.

Because the fuel pump can drain the basket in the fuel tank and run lean...That is a BAD thing...Just ask Tim (White99stang) about that one...
